    By contributing to deforestation, and therefore to the sterilization of part of the land, the need for fuel has, very early in human history, linked energy and the environment. With the use of fossil sources, local pollution (soil, water, air) followed, followed by greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions that are dangerous for climate change. It is therefore impossible to build an energy policy without taking into account its environmental impacts.
