Engineer from the University of Technology of Compiègne (1978), Doctor in Process Engineering from UTC (thesis devoted to cold sources for thermodynamic solar power plants in 1984), he joined the CEA in 1983. After more than 20 years of work on transfers in industrial processes (solar, desalination, food processing, etc.), he joined the Leti teams developing immersion lithography for the microelectronics industry. He was then responsible for the scientific monitoring of PNano program projects on behalf of the National Research Agency. Finally, in 2010, he joined CEA-Liten to develop the water desalination activity coupled with solar power plants of the CSP or PV type or with low temperature thermal waste. At the same time, he assesses the technical aspects of cases on behalf of funding bodies. He is the author or co-author of seven patents and thirty publications and books.
